If the ignition parts need replacement then it should be done immediately as on most vehicles there is one ignition coil that sends spark to the distributor that then distributes spark to the appropriate spark plug but on newer cars, there may be an ignition coil for every spark plug on the car. The problem is realized when the car has starting running very poorly, or stopped running entirely while showing symptoms of lacking spark, your Acura ignition coil is most likely to blame.
There is a great variety in this category that includes Integra, Legend, MDX, NSX, RL, RSX
SLX, TL, TSX and Vigor. If one has a have a newer car with the ability to use a hand held scanner, finding what ignition coil you need to replace would be easy. In case of most cars replacing a bad Acura ignition coil is easy.
