Given below are some precautions to be followed during the installation process of the original equipment manufactured Geo wheels, or replica Geo wheels, or replacement Geo wheels or used Geo wheels.
- The original equipment manufactured, replica, replacement or used Geo wheels must fit freely on the hub and should not be obstructed by any screw, rivet or clip. Any obstruction can cause serious damage to the wheel as well as the automobile
- The Geo wheel must rotate freely. If improper rotation is observed, one must check whether there is any structural defect in the Geo wheels purchased
- Absolutely no part of the Geo wheel must be in contact with the brake mechanism, steering mechanism or the suspension mechanism. Any contact must be corrected immediately
- The size of the Geo wheel must be compatible with the size of the wheel mounting face and the tire size
- Ensure that the Geo wheels are balanced completely. Any problem in balancing as a result of the installation of the new Geo wheels will bring down the performance of the automobile
