National Motorists Association (NMA), The
Founded in 1982, NMA is a membership organisation devoted to representing and protecting the rights and interests of North American motorists.
As a motorist myself, I can appreciate the problems that many others and me have to face almost every day. From absolutely insane drivers on the roads who never should have been given a license in the first place, to speed traps and other law enforcement measures to gain revenue, to inadequate driver's training, I've heard it all and seen some myself. So, I'm sure most of you, fellow motorists, will agree that having an organisation protecting our rights on the roads feels pretty good. And that's exactly what NMA is doing.
NMA provides its members with Legal Defence Kits that instruct you on how to represent yourself in court and win; Traffic Justice Program that encourages you to fight unjust speeding tickets; Attorney Referral Program; and many more useful benefits. To us motorists in general, whether drivers, enthusiasts, collectors, highway users, or taxpayers, NMA offers its representation to government bodies, TV and radio, etc. in an attempt to make life easier for us.
The NMA website provides the users with news, advice, press releases, useful links, and much more.
I don't know about you, but just knowing that National Motorists Association is out there, makes me feel better getting into my car every morning.
