Corvette Action Center
Show of hands - how many of you dream of owning a Corvette one of these days? I'm betting many. It's fast, it's sleek, it's beautiful. It's a dream, all right. It's also expensive. If you already have one - good for you. If you can afford one - go get it. But if you can't - you got to have something to do until that great day when you will proudly drive your Corvette home from the dealership. For that purpose, check out the Corvette Action Center.
"The Corvette Action Center originally started out as a small New Hampshire based Corvette web site and has been under development since January of 2000. The site actually went public on the web on April 1, 2000 and our Community Forums were started September 16, 2000.
In order to enhance your Corvette knowledge, our goal is to provide you, the Corvette owner and enthusiast, with as much information on Corvettes as fast as possible. One of the things you'll notice here is that we do not use a lot of Corvette graphics. Although we do love to look at the cars as well, graphics are to web browsers what air restriction is to Corvette engines. They both rob you of horsepower! Graphically enriched sites are beautiful to look at, but slow to download. They dramatically slow down your web browser and increase the amount of time you have to sit in front of your computer snapping the mouse button frantically while trying to figure out why it's taking so long. You shouldn't have to worry about that here."
Corvette Action Center has shopping, tech center, forums, resources, events, and so much more. It's an invaluable site for any Corvette enthusiast, wheather an owner or not.
